Wielgolas Nature Reserve
It is located in the municipality of Zatory, in Wielgolas Forestry. It is a forest reserve, partial. The protection of the reserve is to preserve a fragment of old trees with the features of a natural complex. It is one of the oldest fragments of the White Forest. It covers a small part of the Wielgolas mountain with features of the natural complex. It is a two-story tree stand with a pine in the upper and a hornbeam in the lower floor, a rich undergrowth and a rich, undistorted rune. The collection prevailing in the reserve is the Tillo-Carpinetum forest, in which there is a rare species of ciliated sedge (Carex pilosa). There are, among others: 5 species of woodpecker (green, variegated, large, black, woodpecker), wandering, creeper, nuthatch, kingfisher, tinctor and other species.
