Lubomirski Castle in Rozwadów is located in the northern part of Stalowa Wola. It is the first monument located on the tourist route between ancestral slots Lubomirski.
From the first half of the eighteenth century until the Second World War Rozwadów and Charzewice were the ancestral seat of princes Lubomirski from Rzeszów-Rozwadów line. Residence of the Duke's family was a mansion with a park in Charzewice, which also hass the cashe.
Villa prince called Castle is a one-storey building erected on the outskirts of Rozwadów in the years 1782-1786 by Franciszek Grzegorz Lubomirski. Built according to the canons of the then fashionable neo-classical style. The base was a rectangular building with a distinctive entrance gate. Above the entrance was extended balcony protected by a decorative iron railing. Above it could be seen triangular niche decorated with the Śreniawski coat of arms. Non-storey characterized by vaulted ceilings. The first floor housed the premises habitable and debated. For the construction of floor and ceiling used wooden planks. Due to the close proximity of wetland marsh within the foundation does not provide basement. Outbuildings called outbuildings were separate building and stood on the east side. From the south stretched a wall surrounding a covered well with a mechanism to facilitate drawing water, laundry, stables and pigsties.
For 1856 years storey premises were used by the authorities Rozwadowski dominion. The royal family occasionally benefited from the rooms on the first floor. Since 1857 has been used by a number of institutions. It was a major office building in the Dolnosański region. The apartments have been repeatedly used for different purposes. In 1809, during the campaign Galician Prince Józef Poniatowski chose the castle to the quarters for his general staff, and the prince stopped there for two days. Prince Lubomirski made here the field hospital for the severely wounded insurgents, the first in September 1831, the second in 1863 during the January uprising. The third war hospital arranged here the Russians in 1914 during the First World War. In September 1939, the priest Potaczało held here point of care. During the Nazi occupation it served as the German army barracks. After the liberation, on the ground floor of the building on the east side housed the headquarters of the Soviet troops.
In mid-May 1945 the Soviet troops left the building. Held in the Municipal Gymnasium Private School, later renamed the National high school general education degree with the right to obtain a matriculation examination. Over the next five years, it became a National Teacher Training College, then moved to Mielec.
Since 1959 it was a primary school No. 2 in Rozwadów. At the turn of 1978/79 was subordinated to it as a branch of the Primary School No. 9 in Stalowa Wola district Rozwadów. The ground floor housed the Municipal Nursery, which closed down a few years later.
Building for several years was abandoned and undeveloped. Then was born the idea of creating a museum. The idea was a success. In March 14, 2002, in a newly renovated building was officially communicated to the opening of the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola. Today the historic Lubomirski Castle is a showcase of the city.

The cache is a magnetic container to the Kinder Suprise egg hidden on the fence of the museum. Bring something to write and remember about conspiracy!
