Jak wiemy, Niemcy budowali dużo pomników wojennych (Kriegerdenkmal). Ten upamiętniał ofiary wojny 1871, czyli francusko-pruskiej. Obecnie wygląda jak bezkształtna kupa kamieni, ale za to na czubku wetknięty jest krzyż.
