Description PL

W drugiej połowie 1945 roku na przyczółku  ścinawskim trwały intensywne walki. W pobliżu wsi Gawrony (Groß Gaffron) radziecka 17 Brygada zmechanizowana Gwardii toczyła bój z grupa bojową 16 Dywizji Pancernej, która w tym okresie posiadała na swoim stanie miedzy innymi haubice samobieżne „Hummel” (Trzmiel). Były one uzbrojone w działo kalibru 155 mm. Jedno działo zostało zniszczone w trakcie walko o Gawrony.
