Fort Jakuba to jedna z pierwszych części Twierdzy Toruń.

Został zbudowany w latach 1828–1833.

Jego zadaniem była obrona Torunia od wschodu.

Swoje militarne znaczenie stracił po włączeniu Torunia do Polski.
