Rynek w Pucku ma typowy średniowieczny układ urbanistyczny. Większość kamienic pochodzi z XVIII wieku. Kamienice są na ogół dwu-, trzy-, a nawet czterokondygnacyjne, pięknie odremontowane, zadbane i kolorowe.

Kiedyś rynek pełnił głównie funkcje handlowe, z dużym targiem rybnym. Dziś to miejsce chętnie odwiedzane jest przez turystów i mieszkańców.
