Description EN PL

[ENG] Once every five years, over one hundred thousand people from all over Estonia gather in Tallinn. Why? Because song and dance festival is the symbol of continuity and remaining unified. During that moment something amazing happens - the power of song and effect of sound, the joy of moving and showing all the work done by thousands of dancers. The synergy is very powerful, you can take part in it only by being under the singing arc or in the singing grounds, only when being on the dancing stadium.

Used materials: Estonian Song and Dance Celebration Foundation and Tartu Song Festival Museum

Song Festival tradition began in Tartu and our first cache is dedicated to Estonian Song Festivals.

Remarks
Words in [BRACKETS] are numbers or digits that you must find out to find all the locations in this treasure hunt.
"Previous latitude/longitude" means the latitude/longitude of the previous location.
NB! Second location is not always reachable. You can surely visit it from Wednesday to Sunday from 12 to 18 and maybe on Monday and Tuesday during working hours.

Location 1

In the given coordinates you will find yourself in a place where the first song festival was held. Count how many heads are holding the stone [HEADS]. To reach the next location, you need to note down the 4 digit number [ABCD] found on the stone and update your coordinates as stated below.

Location 2

Previous latitude - [AB*CD / 6612] minutes
Previous longitude + [DC*BA / 28292] minutes

Hopefully you are standing near an information board. You can read (sadly only in Estonian) where you've ended up and after that start slowly going up the stairs. But not too fast because counting the steps will be useful in your future calculations. Count until you reach the top of them - there's no more stairs in front of you [STAIRS]. Once at the top, don't walk away! Count all the red doors you can see [DOORS] and same color windows [WINDOWS]. You have earned a rest now - go sit in the beautiful gazebo and count the big columns [COLUMNS]. You wish to sit on a bench that is not under a roof? Sure thing, just find one but before sitting, stand in front of it and count the bolts you see [BOLTS]. If you've counted everything correctly then you can start calculating the coordinates of the 3rd location.

Location 3

Previous latitude + [(HEADS * DOORS * COLUMNS + BOLTS) / 10000] minutes
Previous longitude + [((STAIRS - COLUMNS - 3) * HEADS + WINDOWS - 2000) / 1000] minutes

The treasure is hidden in a traditional way in a rather public place so be careful. From this place you can enjoy very beautiful sunsets during summer. We hope you enjoyed our first cache :)

About the cache
