Description EN PL

Next to the new building at the corner of Kluczborska and Stara Górczewska streets an intresting object is installed on the pavement - a sundial. It is rather hard to check the time using it, because the height of the sun is different on each day of the year (another cache tells about it) but you can check out at the spot and try yourself:)The main disadventage in out climate is, that it doesn't work on cloudy days (which we have a lot of). :)

To get the coordinates of the final cache (azimuth and distance to the final spot), it is necessary to make a few simple calculations.

W points to the area of two numbers. Multiply them by each other, and add to the result the lowest number on the sundial. Then multiply the result by the higher number, that W points to. Finally, divide the result by two and you will get the azimuth in degrees.

To get to know the distance to the final spot, just multiply by each other, two numbers that N points to.

A little hint to check the result: you should go to the direction where there are no numbers on the sundial.
