Oak Krzywulec
It grew at least 300 years. Powerful and unique. His uniqueness lay in the fact that he was crooked. Hence the name "Krzywulec". A powerful oak growing in the forest between Gładczyn and Wielgolas, in Wielgolas forestry. Nature monuments include trees that are magnificent in size and of right age. In undeveloped areas, if it does not pose a threat to people or property, trees that are monuments of nature are protected until spontaneous, complete decomposition. Therefore, the natural monument in the forestry Wielgolas, so-called "Krzywulec", which fell over at the end of December 2016, will remain in the forest until it is completely destroyed by insects and fungi. Since 1974, "Krzywulec" is a natural monument. Let's hope that soon it will be covered with a warm duvet from moss and lichen.
