Zalew Skowronek został utworzony na rzece Brodła w 1970 roku przez Zakłady Chemiczne w Alwerni, a 3 lata później powstał towarzyszący mu Ośrodek Wypoczynkowy. Położony jest na południowych peryferiach miasta. Od 2006 roku akwen wodny jest własnością gminy.

Proszę o zachowanie rozwagi i ... ciszy. To królestwo bobrów, więc miejscami teren dla nas jest nieco niebezpieczny.
