The Magi (Greek: magoi), also referred to as the Three Wise Men or Three Kings were, in Christian tradition, a group of distinguished foreigners who visited Jesus after his birth, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Caspar, an Indian scholar, gave gold.
Gold is a chemical element. It is a dense, soft, malleable, and ductile metal with an attractive, bright yellow color and luster that is maintained without tarnishing in air or water.
