HISTORY

History of the railway station in Bierzwnik dates back to 1847-1848, when it was part of a newly built railway section connecting with Dobiegniew Stargard.

With the new combination held fast and convenient rail transport - passenger - PKP Bierzwnik Bierzwnik passengers served, Płoszkowa, Jagliska, Starzyc, Kolska, Ostromęcka, Górzna, Strumienna, grace, and Wygonu Brenia. In a single day was celebrated here nearly 150 passengers, and celebrated many of luggage.

Significant was also the freight have been using, inter alia, a timber belonging to the National Forests and Municipal Cooperative Bierzwnik.

PRESENT

Currently railway station in Bierzwnik is a very quiet place. After closing the timber depot is going on here less and less.
Ticket is closed, so you must buy a ticket from the conductor (no extra charge).
